Just last week, MAAQ had another photo shoot but it wasn't just another photo shoot. Well in fact, it is Mr. Erron Ocampo and Jesy Ocampo we are talking about here. Our photographer (Angel Flores) managed to messaged them some weeks ago and they replied with a "yes" so we did great preparations for this pre-valentine shoot that was shot at Eastwood.

Though I wasn't able to come to this shoot because it was my great grandmother's birthday (Yes! She's 90 years old and still happy-go-lucky), I know that my friends were overly happy the whole duration of the shoot since it is such an honor to shoot Mr. Erron (A professional wedding photographer) and his wife Ms. Jesy (professional make-up artist) together, so Eastwood wasn't really a long and exhausting trip for excited people.

I really love the outcome of the shoot, it was more than what I expected. Maybe because couple shoots are some of my vast favorite since couples together makes a great effect on the camera and it creates a large amount of story. And because we love couple shoots, MAAQ is going to have more couple shoots! So please always stay tuned in our website.

Three photo shoots has already passed and I wasn't even able to share anything from the either one of them. So here goes the first one, since we really love to shoot Bianca (a.k.a Therese Conde) we had another shoot with her. This time it was a light and dark concept.

Bias aside, I love working with this girl because she poses effortless and obviously pretty enough to carry all those make-up, hairstyle, and clothes together and creates one gorgeous ensemble.

Charity works

Having an all new "New Year's resolution" this year is a big leap. It is not really the usual type of; I will be a better student, I will not be lazy, I will avoid rice, nyada-nyada. Instead, it is a big leap of faith and a big leap of confidence- Charity works.
This 2012 makes me eager about life even before it started. Not only do I want to be a better person for myself, but I want to be a better person for the world and the society thus, I started a move called "feeding project".

(Help me feed one street child a day)

I was especially moved by Joey Velasco's "Kumbas ng Lipunan" video clip that our CLE teacher showed us. It is true that he said that the poor aren't really used to being poor, we are just used to seeing them like that. It was a big eye opener for me and my friends so lately we came to a point wherein we, ourselves thought of applying it in our lives. Thus,

We treated a couple of kids from a depressed area in Jollibee last February 3. One of them, Roel, a 13 year old kid who has never eaten in Jollibee before and sadly, has never even been to a mall until that day was so glad to be actually experiencing all these things suddenly. After treating them, we let them ride on a Ferris wheel in SM's basement and I gave them some school supplies and donuts for their siblings to take home.

It was such a wonderful experience for everybody. The children had a wonderful time and experience and us-me, Angel, Aline, Cheska, Dorothy and Detdet learned a valuable lesson of how blessed we are so we have to share it with other less fortunate people around us. And one big thing that I realized was how narcissist our world is even if a lot are not aware of it, it is by simply ignoring these kinds of children and just continue with their flow of life (e.g discussing all about their love life and the latest trends) so now, I don't want to be the usual kind of person. Well, I would still talk about fashion and my life here definitely but I wouldn't be too attached, I am already towards the goal of detaching myself to earthly possessions.

395 days (If my math's right) slash 13 months. Yes, thirteen months with him! :) Some people all around us may find our relationship earlier as a no-deal, or like it won't work that long. But I guess we just really have to prove them wrong over and over again.

Yes, we went through a lot of crisis for months but maybe, we just can't avoid each other;) One year and one month has really been incredible for the both of us. We came to know each other very well and even the smallest things like, if I pinch his nose bridge lightly it will instantly mark red for days, he loves to gobble up all the junk foods for just a few minutes, he rarely gets bloated (if I mean rarely, it is really rare), he kinda has a wire-type hair because it semi-curls though it is not really visible.

So for our thirteenth month, we want to celebrate somewhere-somewhat special :)

T.G.I.Friday's was our spot that night. I know their servings are really big and oh-so-worth paying so we chose this location in Alabang Town Center, I love the place because it is a family place and at the same time can be kinda intimate to just chitchat with your friends and especially, loved ones.

Well, this is our only picture that night despite our haggard faces, we still smiled for the camera 'cause that is how we love each other. Hihi :D
Btw. I'm using a digicam for better pictures than my Corby (and yeah, still waiting for the dslr lens)

Promenade's coming!

The month of Promenades is now coming up close (Oh fancy! Tomorrow's already February). Oh promenade, a wonderful night wherein you'll feel like a princess in long gowns with gorgeous hairstyles, oh so glamorous faces and the boy of your dreams in a perfect tuxedo. And I'm pretty sure that everybody concerned here is already buzzing to look for the perfect Prom gown, elegant sweet heels and good salons they can really trust with their looks on this once in a lifetime event (Sure it is a once in a lifetime event because every prom is different from the other).
So what other way can we have a prom dress other than asking a couturier to make one for you (That usually is a big hassle because of transportation and the sweat of looking for the best one) and renting? Well, obviously we have the internet.

Anyway, nice introduction? Haha :) I'm just selling my Third year Prom gown.

"We Wanted to be the Sky" Dsquared2 s/s 2012

Dsquared2 s/s 2012 fashion show captured my attention quicker than the falling rain. What's really unique about this show is it is not your usual serious faces looking only at the same avantgarde clothes, the usual spic-and-span runway and the kinda boring background music (though the music here is kinda weird but it is Lady Gaga and it is so like Coachella).

As you can see, the runway is splattered with mud all over and some models are holding Heineken. Pretty much the scenes in music festivals, and that is what the collection is all about, they have taken great inspiration from music festivals. As you can also see, the collection is more on fun thus accessories and cover-ups are more over the top, some usual denims and clothing with american flags are seen depicting the laid-back musical scene. Neon colors are so rampant and I think that is a very cool thing.

In my previous post I talked about and shared some photos of the shoot last December 29, so this is what I wore that day:

The reason for not rotating the photos above is because I think they are prettier that way than straightening it up, Haha! I so love the outfit I am wearing for it makes me feel like a happy spring/summer girl playing in the open fields and collecting a bunch of colorful flowers. Oh and about the maxi skirt, this wonderful item is from my mom's teenage years (I mean when she was 20!) the thing I love about this is it hugs my figure perfectly making a nice silhouette on my waist part.

PS. Because I'm still absent from school I still have all the time in the world to make a lot of long blog posts or simply make a ton of posts.

Have you ever noticed that there is at least one or two thrifted or vintage item in my outfit? Because I totally love thrifted clothing or accessories. Only in thrift stores can you find the rarest and most wonderful items you have ever seen without making a big hole in your purse and as for vintage, it has always this feeling that when you wear something vintage it seems like you've also been a part of its history plus, my grandmother has a ton of cool vintage accessories and bags!

PS. A first timer in lookbook is kinda scary 'cause it has a looot of requirements. Nevertheless, it is okay :)

(sorry for the photo, I'm not yet getting the hang of using Canon and I currently have no photoshop to enhance it a little)

I know I'm a day late but having a rest is much better than being stressed up on the first day of 2012, especially I'm sick since New Year's Eve. Having this kind of sickness is so sick. Anyway, NO NO NO to negative vibes! and YES YES YES to positive vibes :) All I want for this year is a better self, better society and better environment. Can we possibly all say yes to those? So for this year, we shall all turn down negative vibes and never let them in our spirits and since we're now in the controversial twenty-twelve we'll show this year who's boss.

To celebrate 2012's coming we bought fireworks which is something really new because we don't use fireworks at all but I guess we wanna break the tradition and it was really nice. :)

so for now, I won't tell anymore advice or what 'cause i'm pretty sure everyone now has the idea of what is good and what is bad plus new year's resolution are all over us. So Goodluck for this year!!

And before the year really really ends, I've completely armed myself with all the things I use to get myself ready for the new year. For the final touch, introducing my 2012 planner- SLATE Planner!

Getting armed for 2012

As we're all about to leave this year full of experiences and memories- year 2011. A year that made me grow a lot and learn from a lot of experiences, joined some activities that I never would've known I can and somewhat developed myself in some aspects yet I should not let myself stop here, just this year. I'm only sixteen (16!) and this is just the beginning of my actual life :)

So to start the year with a bang, I bought necessities which i always buy before the year ends and another year starts. I'll start with the things that gives color to my life, literally:

Yay! for my new colored pens. I couldn't possibly live completely without my colored pens. Oh, and because I have this coloring sketchpad good for water color and oil pastel, I added an oil pastel to my collection :) Now I'm so ready for 2012, just one more thing... A planner! I have this one planner in mind that I'm about to buy later, I won't share THE planner for now 'cause i don't wanna jinx it. Hihi :">

Catch ya'll later! I still have to do a couple of stuff since my boyfriend and I are now turning a year on January 1! :D

Back Home

So I'm back home from our short vacation in Pansol, Laguna. It turned out great and it was such a fun time bonding with the people I grew up with and love. The weather was a-okay, I love how it grows cold and windy when I most need it and hot when I'm somewhat freezing, the hot spring was also good and refreshing especially when the atmosphere is drawing chilly and the best part of the vacation? When the boy I love came to join the fun and spent at least 6 hours in our place and in those 6 hours, we were actually swimming and just lounging around the pool! Talk about wrinkling our skin until we can't stand it anymore.

One more note, I accidentally created a lookbook account. I was actually planning to make one next year to start something new in 2012 but it turns out it came early this December, I was joining this contest and it has something to do with hyping a photo and in order to hype I must log-in then I used my facebook but I was unaware that logging in means signing up in lookbook, so there you go, a lookbook account.

Plus! Something to look forward tomorrow :) just check it out tomorrow or the next day to find out.

Belated Merry Christmas!

And... I wasn't able to blog about my Noche Buena and Christmas day because it's still a busy time and because my lens aren't here yet -_- Haha, anyway I know it'll come sooner 'cause my dad has been asking about lens now.

On another note, my family and I will be off to our traditional vacation, swimming! But it won't be on the beach, which is quite a new one, instead we will have our tradition in a resort somewhere in Pansol, Laguna for 2 nights and 3 days. In addition to that, unfortunately there is no WiFi in our location so I have to leave my blog again with nothing for 3 days or more. Just please excuse the short hiatus I'm on :)

On another another note, I'm so looking forward for one certain event that probably can change my life or not, but I can really feel it is something close to one big FUN. Plus, doing this event can do something real good for the victims of the Typhoon Sendong in Cagayan De Oro. I cannot share the details though because it is not even released yet and I don't wanna jinx it and all. Just stay tuned :)

Anti Bisperas

Anti Bisperas means 2 days before the actual celebration or festivity; in this case- Christmas day. All year long I have waited for this season to actually come again, I love how extraordinary this season is compared to all festivities of the year, truly nothing can beat this kind of holiday.

I love the cold atmosphere every morning and every night, I love the many wonderful Christmas lights that lit up every house I sometimes pass by, I love to see and hear carolers caroling, I love how beautifully decorated with Christmas ornaments the private and public establishments in the Metro (especially the malls), I love how my family and I put up the Christmas tree and decorate the whole place, I love the start of the "Misa de Gallo" or best known as simbang gabi, I love reunions, I love presents under the tree, I love seeing people happy receiving Christmas gifts, and especially I love the feeling of love and warmth and knowing the Christ is coming.

But this year, I'd rather sum it up to some unknown feeling I never felt before with this season. Sure I became ecstatic when I found out that dad will come home for Christmas and same as my uncle who lives in abroad, it was a real jampacked Christmas. I have this feeling a month ago that this will be the best Christmas yet 'cause it's already been a long time since dad came home for Christmas. But now, I don't really know what is happening and parallel to what I'm feeling is the gloomy weather the country has been experiencing for maybe 2 or 3 weeks now and the sudden Flash Flood in Cagayan de Oro that shocked everyone because many deaths have been reported and a lot of people are suffering of disease and many also lost a lot of their things, houses, and jobs (some farmers). Plus, people are still missing. I don't really know how to react this way though I know one big thing- God and prayers.

Ah Yeah! That's what's been missing all along. Just one sad thing, I've always been close to God since I started YFC, I pray a lot in both good and bad times. Even the simplest and smallest thing that happens to me or to other people leads me to a small but sincere prayer but now seems so different, I feel so faraway. Maybe all the activities and my busy schedule has been drawing me to far from God since at times I tend to forget praying before I sleep and as I wake up.
I just wanna change every routine I have before 2011 officially ends and another year comes, this time I will be 101% sure that God will be in my daily routines, in simply everything I do. Please, I also need prayers to get my life straight so if you happen to pass by my blog and successfully read this post up to here, my congratulations to you!! :D ohh... I mean, please pray for me and also to the victims of the people in Cagayan De Oro. Thank You so much! :)

Laziness isn't getting any better

Christmas Christmas time is here! :)
So it's already the 17th and Christmas caroling just started last night so I can really feel that Christmas is fast approaching but my blog isn't getting any better :|
I just finished a truck load of tasks this week and our High school night turned out great! I'm so proud of the SC team, so proud of our productions and our hard works, it really paid-off. Sadly, due to my camera lens' stroke I wasn't able to capture the highlights of the night and I can't find a good photo of myself for that night (describe the word haggard).

Meanwhile, my family and I are already complete! My uncle just arrived from Canada. Christmas is so in for me this year but one thing's missing, camera lens! I'll have a new one... soon ;>

Btw. I also told you about my Christmas wishlist, and guess what? I'm not yet done with it yet, leap for laziness! :| (haven't even started it yet). Okay, enough with the rants too many words and no pictures means a lot of boring moments, ikr! So I'd like to share to you this awesome website I passed by recently and now, it is a part of my daily net journeys.

I know I've been gone a long time and will still do. And in addition to that, my DSLR just happened to experience a very sad tragedy or may I say, my lens won't work anymore and I won't have a new one 'til next month :( so please bear with me and my current photos.

Anyway, on a lighter note, I joined a contest in Clozette.co (blogged about it here) and I was overly ecstatic when one of their staff emailed me that I just won about a month ago. There was a lot of processing stuffs so I only got the package yesterday.

Their cute black velvet packaging/pouch is enough to make my heart skip a beat for whats inside.

And voila! A red necessaire authentic Prada pouch. It's absolutely adorable and handy <3 Thanks so much to Clozette.

PS. From now on until next month I'll be having my Samsung Corby II as a photo sub-bestfriend :)

It's Monday and what's a better way to start this week than to just attend classes? Of course, not to attend classes. It was this somekind of throat ache that made this all possible, so Hoorah for updates and movie marathon :)

On another note, I just had my La Salle Entrance Exam yesterday. The exam was quite okay, it was almost like UPCAT but what really worn me out is the strong rain plus we were only commuting so imagine how hard is it to cross the road avoiding all small floods, big puddles and the sudden rush of water from the LRT. Too bad I wasn't able to take pictures for blogging purposes.

We can say that nowadays almost anything that may seem so unfashionable in our imaginations can be simply worked out and make that uninteresting clothing staple something worth gossiping about.

As for me, I found one of the perfect fashion sites. It's a cross between polyvore and chictopia. Polyvore lets you create a style of your own in collages and it is present in Clozette! In chictopia, it lets you upload your outfits for the day, talks about fashion issues, and lets you sell your stuff online.

But in Clozette you can style outfits in collages, lets you upload your "look of the day", also they also have fashion issues discussed in their "insider", and what I love about this site that it is not yet crowded unlike others so you can really focus on what you have to do. Plus! You can have your own bazaar, you can sell whatever you like online and not having a problem to verify it by the administration or if its a big online shop.

The great Time-out!

This week has been such a big whirlwind and I was swallowed in alive. I tried to get out

and calm down but every time I do, my heart feels like its being pushed in a cliff

with just a pinky finger to hang on a thin wooden branch.

I can't find a way so I let the whirlwind take me to where it wishes to,

unknowingly if its a field of yellow daffodils all over or

the deepest depth in the world that might gulp me in alive.

I can't figure out how this have happened all I know is that I was walking on a peaceful

meadow before, then suddenly I found myself in the buzzing streets

of New York,

on the spur of the moment I was in an old abandoned house in

the abandoned part of the country.

I wish I can turn back time and start all over, but it was impossible.

So I just rephrased Disney's Phineas and Ferb quote in a whole different manner (orginally: "with the right tools and bright ideas, you can take over the world"). Being a fashion enthusiast is the reason why.

So yesterday was my lovely mom's birthday and we celebrated her day staying at home and to just relax, yesterday was literally the first in many weeks I got home with still the sun shining so bright up in the sky.

Kinda not busy right now 'cause I'll be going nowhere today. I was suppose to attend my CAT class right now, go to MAAQ's photo shoot, and YFC's discovery camp but since...

1.) I also thought of having review classes for my upcoming entrance exams which 2-5pm on Saturday, I have to give up Discovery camp :( but then...

2.) Review classes might be a waste of money since I can have some classmates as my tutor so there goes MAAQ's photo shoot...

3.) That was suppose to be after CAT but it was moved on Sunday for those who will attend review classes today...

4.) And lastly, I got sick the moment I woke up this morning so bye-bye to all my plans and hello CAT demerits :(

Anyway, I'll be blogging/sharing about my day yesterday. It was:

Uh yeah, it's Thursday and we're suppose to have classes right now but since the weather is so good to not let us go to school, it rained so hard enough to declare a storm. Whoo :)

Anyway, a week is too long not to post anything since I owe my blog a lot of posts from my 3-day vacation at Subic, my first day of school, and some other posts that I would not like to leak as of now. Oh and a real "goodie" (*ahem) 'cause the laptop I'm using now doesn't want to cooperate, same as the internet. -__- I just have to wait until all things cooperate.

So for now I'll be trying a random photo diary of our vacation and hoping it goes well.

It's never late

Before I leave with my family this weekend, I'll leave a post so I won't be in a great hiatus like last week (if there will be an available wi-f i over that place then hopefully I can still update everyday of my 3-day vacation).

Another family bonding day, we went to Southmall and ate at Pancake House. I chose a Jumbo House Burger...

And I never really thought that it would really be JUMBO, i thought it would be just some ordinary burger that has a "jumbo" in his name but I've learned a lesson, "Don't underestimate" (actually, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE) nevertheless it was really yummy and I'm sure the burger's meat has no preservatives and it's not even that oily so I may be sure that I won't have lots of problem burning all those calories. For my dessert, I shared a huge waffle with ice cream (forgot the name) with my dearest brother, I really liked it since the waffle is well blended with ice cream, peanut butter and nips all around (no photo).

Oh that's my "kulit" dad, sticking out his tongue. Haha!

What can you do with a dark photo when there's no photoshop? I'm totally lost :|

We then shopped afterwards to complete our final to-buy-stuff for the weekend. I'm so excited 'cause I've been literally waiting for our beach trip for already 2 months! The whole summer time! And it's really never too late to go to the beach even when it means a weekend (a day) before our classes :)

Eye-candy addiction

My fam bam and I went to a sudden trip to Greenhills yesterday thus, another shopping trip with the whole family. We first ate at a Chinese restaurant that was extremely cold and to think I was in a sleeveless top and denim shorts! It was so freezing but thank God they serve hot tea before eating.

After eating comes me and my sister's favorite part, what else? then of course... shopping! That's what Greenhills is made for ;)

We both bought a Faux Cath Kidston Holdall plus free travel set bag. We were currently obsessing over the prints, the bag itself and the label which is I've never encountered before 'til now. I also bought a Faux Cath Kidston camera/ cellphone holder (which is not in the photo)

I also bought floral espadrilles that's labeled Witchcraft, an original Brazilian footwear label. I just have to break it in so I can suit in it properly.

Oh and meet my new Samsong Corby II phone which I bought last Thursday, a day before our youth camp. :) Funny story about this is that Thursday morning, I was scanning over the newspaper when I saw this baby and thought that I would love to own this the next time my mom buys me a phone (which I thought would be some months from now) but that same night, I already held it on my hands! Thanks to my uncle.

PS. I'm so excited for our upcoming beach trip this weekend that I've been craving ever since school ended. A real relaxation before summer ends ;)

Kudos weekend

As I've said in my previous posts, I'll be in a short hiatus over the weekend. And so now it's time to share my experience :)

May 27, Friday was a really really big and important event for my yfc cluster. So I'll just give a very quick rundown so it won't be that boring since I don't also have much photos to accompany with my story-telling 'cause I didn't brought my camera to the camp so I can really concentrate.

We actually started late due to some reasons but it was not much of a fail, Thanks God :) Me and my brother were the first ones to become prayer warriors so it's such an honor :D

Hmmm.. anyway, why not a photo diary ah? I'll just have to borrow photos from my co-yfc, Noel Tomboc.

I may be busy for the next few days or this week due to our upcoming Youth For Christ youth camp, I need to be more spiritually ready for our battle on Friday-Saturday so I may not spend most of my time typing or surfing away in front of the computer. I'm doing all of this for God, so All for God! :)

Anyway, I'm excited for our camp though I will be sharing in a talk and I haven't thought what to say yet but nevertheless, I'm excited to meet new people and have new friends also a once in a lifetime experience. I will just have to lift up all my concern to God so He can use me properly as an instrument :)

This is actually a requested post from my boyfriend. He wanted a post in my blog all for himself so I dedicate this post solely to him :)

Once again, this is my beloved boyfriend, Alfred John Umali (Aj for short). We've been together for quite sometime now (well not together together, duh! we're still students).

So I'll tell you a not-so-short description about him.

I don't really know how to start this so I'll run first to what he usually does:

Ah yeah, he's been diving since he was 8 years old so you bet he's really great at it, he already went to a lot of diving spots in the Philippines. I'm so proud of him :)

He learned how to drive seriously when he finally reached puberty (wait, that wasn't really appropriate. HAHA! anyway...) but he learned how to steer and gas when he was maybe 7 or 8? And now he is a professional driver who races in to some big race tracks. Yeah, still so proud of him :)

He also plays a lot of sports like basketball, badminton, table tennis and volleyball (Once he even became our school's volleyball varsity team).

I can't really describe him much in words, he is just so wonderful into every bits of his fantastic self. I love him so much like there's also no perfect words to describe how I feel, it just feels awesome :)

Oh and I also love his family to bits, they're so fun to be with!

Wonderin' why I've been in a short hiatus lately? Well, not only because I have non to share in ze blogosphere (hahaha) but also because I was busy studying... yes, you read that right... studying!

I know it's summer and this is the only time I can be really distant with anything related to school and the like but you see, I'm an incoming 4th year student in high school and I want to refresh all the lessons I've learned in my previous years in high school (especially mathematics. Being mathematically challenged is so difficult -_-) so I can surely use it in my upcoming entrance exams in the schools I would really love to pass to.

I need colorful stuff to get good vibes going around me so studying would be much fun. Ü

My life would be a complete party if I already landed my dream job, go to places I would love to go, get my caffeine fix without my parents stopping me and of course, get my own flat or house 'cause I'm independent like that :))

And addition to having a complete life, I would love to design my own crib. Being a very girlie girl that eye candies on anything pastel, bright, artsy and vintage-like, Heima caught my attention right away. They have these very cute furnitures and artsy stuffs that you only thought exists in your doll houses and day dreams. I love how each furniture doesn't looks like an ordinary one, it seems like each furniture is made out of pure love, passion, creativity and it shows a lot of lifestyle in it.

I seriously need a new blog for my shoe lusting purposes. I'm really a big shoesie fan since I was a kid, I can totally remember that I was the vainest girl in the house when it comes to shoes, I don't just want shoes to wear for school, or going to the mall or going to church, I want shoes that makes me feel good, that speaks to me and that makes me feel I can stand out from the rest... literally. I can clearly remember that I can't buy sandals that doesn't have heels on it, whether its wedges, espadrilles or some plain heels, it just has to have heels on it. :))

Well, yeah... I will be attending the annual Kids for Christ International Kid's Village in PICC Manila as a ROCK facilitator for my cluster this weekend starting tomorrow so I may not update this blog in three days or so since I will also be catching up on Pretty Little Liars' season 1 so I can be ready for season 2 and before the summer ends :)

I'm sure I'll have lots of fun again and feel the feeling of being a-kid-at-heart :) Whooooo!

Cuppy Cakes

It was a downright perfect day to make cupcakes yesterday, also because I wasn't too lazy to do so and I was afraid that I might not be able to bake cupcakes when the ingredients already expires. It was just a simple cupcake really but I was too happy since it was my first time to bake not using any instant thingamajigs, yay for moi! :))

Actually I got a little problem while doing the mix, I realized that I lack 2 and 1/4 cup of flour and 1/2 cup butter so I have to think of a substitute for the flour since it can't be bought at any nearby store so I used the pancake's mix that was found in our pantry and then I just bought the butter in a store. Good thing my sister helped me in measuring some of the ingredients and my mom helped me in cooking so it wasn't a big hassle for me to get everything done in time for AJ's coming.

The finished product was equally astounding that upto now I'm still craving for it or 'cause maybe I was the one who baked it? HAHA :)) but AJ can't get enough of it either, kay... we're the only ones who have such huge lovey dovey with these cupcakes.

And, as usual, the only problem? the shaky camera -__- this camera seriously needs to go to its center, right now... right this instant. O__O

Watching the Royal wedding yesterday makes me tweet and scroll down on tumblr once again. Those sites never fails me to bring all their opinions, back-to-back gossips, and never failing jokes about anything that is really hot and burning.

Today's Takbo para kay Kristo 2, a prayer run on it's second year. I joined this event last year and it was my first ever fun run so I was happy to join again this year's run but unfortunately, I got sick the day before and I have to rest for today so boo-hoo me since I'm really excited for this day. I even got myself kicking and exercising a week long to prepare myself for the run (I didn't prepared myself last year so I was pretty surprised of my bad condition during half of the race) just to see myself helplessly sitting in front of the computer this morning.

I have a lot of activities today (something that frustrates me 'cause I was waiting for something to do outside for already 2-3 weeks and now its all jammed pack in this one day, this day in which I really need to rest)

I've been forever wishing to have a summer job, my dream summer job. But unlucky me, I'm 15 and the minimum age to have one is 16

I already saw a lot of internships in different fashion sites and I always get my heart broken whenever I'm not too old to apply in one :|

Easter Happiness!

Me and my family went out with my aunt, uncle and cousins to celebrate Easter and a late celebration for my grandma (who turned 78 I think last Maundy Thursday).

We went to Giligan's Restaurant at Festival mall for lunch, it was somewhat early when we got there but people are really fast that when we arrived it was half full.

We ordered the usual sisig, that the Martin family can't forget when its available, plus more viands that I can't really remember since we need to eat fast so that empty dishes can go and more food can be put on our table.

(there were no food photo since we're all too hungry to bother :>)

After a hearty meal with bloated stomachs, my cousins and I decided to ride on Pixie Forest's Funhouse (yeah, the one where the seats goes rocking back and forth then the walls turn), ahh yeah... also a good reminisce for childhood moments, I remember the last time I rode on that, I was awfully scared but I managed to sleep well through the night. Hee!

Anyway, we're about to go home when my uncle asked us if we wanted to go on a sudden roadtrip to Tagaytay, so who wouldn't want to get more time on the road right? :))

When we got there, we have to wait for an hour before the mass starts so:

After mass, we went to Gerry's Grill to get our stomachs stuffed again. Oh beef casserole, sisig and sago't gulaman never fails me in a trip to Gerry's grill :)

I can't absolutely stand the heat right now! It gets hotter and hotter each day and though I ain't sun-bathing under the heat of the sun, it totally feels like my skin is turning tan. So totally (un)cool.

Why-oh-why?

Antonello Jospeh Sarto Perez, or popularly known as AJ Perez was pronounced dead at exactly 12:20 am on April 17, 2011. He really made a mark in the Philippines' showbiz appearing in numerous commercial, movies and tv shows that includes "Abt ur luv", where I first learned about him. He also made a mark in almost every teenage Filipina for being that kind guy, handsome boy and great actor.

Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night and thought of looking at my phone when I saw a friend's group message saying that AJ Perez was already dead, I couldn't believe what I was reading that every time I woke up I would immediately think about it that when morning came, I quickly searched it and was really sad about the legit news.

I would like to reach out my deepest condolence to his family, loved ones and to everyone he left here on earth. I believe it was no one's fault, God has His own plans for everybody and this was His already laid plan for AJ Perez, we just pray that may his soul rest in peace with our creator now. Amen.

I've already said in this post that I'm going to make panna cotta right? So yeah, about that..

I've already made panna cottas last Thursday and feeling like something's missing, I re-made it on Friday then when I checked it out yesterday, huzzah! It's not that set as it suppose to be -__-

I guess I wasn't really paying that much attention to measurements. Now, I've already learned my lesson! Be attentive and accurate.

Anyway, my mom, being as resourceful as ever, turned the so-called-panna-cotta in to a mango refrigerator cake. Voila:

I know it's been quite some time since my last post. Well being b-b-busy's... oh okay I'll say the real word-lazy, is what keeps me from doing daily posts. Tee-hee. Anyway, there weren't much going on in my life lately so no hassle for me in keeping updates. :)

So yeah, here is the real thing. You see, after four years... Mr. Nigel Barker and now with Miss J Alexander are actually here in the Philippines! I've just heard about that a while ago (uhh, so out of the news) but good thing, I think I can go see them since they're gonna visit Alabang Town Center tomorrow, which is really near my home.

I can't absolutely wait! Oh my stomach grumbles -__- Just really hoping that me and my sister can go tomorrow.

So maybe you've already notice that there is something new in my appearance lately and I can't help but love it. Haha!

You may not know this but I really have a love-hate relationship with my bangs even before I cut it out. In a moment, everything was perfect and my bangs (or if I can say so though it's length stretches a little below my chin) was in place but in another time frame it goes all wacky and I was all about bits of hating it. So after months of our love-hate relationship, I decided to cut it and Voila!

Photos were taken by a very good friend, also a part of my closest friends' group-Angel, while she was setting the camera so there wouldn't be much noise in it but huzzah! it's kinda of a fail. I guess my camera is trying to tell us that it needs some rest and some fixtures.

Anyway on another note, last Sunday, MAAQ is once again activated this summer after a month of hiatus. I'm pretty sure I haven't posted about it yet but I will in my next post so just stay tuned :)

Manila International Autoshow @ World Trade Center

I never thought someone would spend a lot for Euro plates. True enough, AJ's hobbies are quite expensive.

It was another day with my AJ and his family so for this day we went to MIAS, the Philippines' biggest motor show. It was actually my first time to go in a carshow, my boyfriend is a huge car enthusiast and so I want to support him in any way possible. Haha :)

The sun was hot and so were we ;) hee. Uh Yeah, we spent almost 3 hours in the carshow then almost an hour in the parking lot since it was fully jammed packed that there wasn't any way to get out, getting near Las Pinas was a hassle 'cause the road to my city was always the road (and must've been the only road I know in the Philippines that creates such a huge traffic jam) that never experienced smooth traffic. But anyway it was a good bonding moment with AJ's sister and him though he sits on the front seat.

Yesterday, my mom woke me up to ask me if I wanna go to QC with her today (asked my sisters same) and I immediately said yes! Who wouldn't wanna go out in a usual boring day right? :)

It was actually my mom's first drive to QC without my dad or any route master and so we got a little lost in Skyway and Fort Bonifacio so we have to ask a lot of people for directions to where the road can lead us back to C5. Fortunately it wasn't hot and there ain't a single sight of traffic jam so it's a lovely term to call our "being lost" into a detour.

Anyway after doing errand in QC, me and my older sister suggested to got to Tiendesitas since (seriously!), we have never been there!

It was kinda hot in the food court part but it was pretty summery. We didn't took much pictures since we were terribly hungry and our hands can't stop quivering (or maybe I was just to exaggerated?)

She's bored pretty much so she couldn't stop camwhoring, well only when she is still sane to wait for her food.

*Did you know? that this kid can actually eat a dozen of food but she won't even feel bloated and plus she stays slim. She's unbelievable :))

So after we ate, we went a little shopping spree (I'll just have to post my awesome finds some other time 'cause I immediately put the clothes I bought in the laundry when we got home) then continued the mini shopping spree in SM Southmall since I know that's where I can find my summer sandals. Hihi :P

Yesterday, my boyfriend invited me and my siblings to scuba world where his dad works and we got the chance to have scuba diving lessons for free. Indeed it was a wonderful experience 'cause I personally didn't thought of trying to dive in my early teenage years and since it was in my bucket list to learn how to dive, it already had a check on it! All that's left that I really want for diving is to really dive in actual sea, with corals and fishes :)

But yesterday was really fun since my boyfriend was there, also guiding me and teaching me things I never knew about diving, it was really a big bonus.

Now I know AJ's sports :) just have to work myself in to manual cars and huzzah! I know how to work in all of his sports.

It's owned by a self-taught fashion designer originally from Florida but now based in Brooklyn, New York; the name's Keiko Lynn. I love how well-coordinated her outfit comes and how it attracts fashion favor girls. I must say the style are kind of a 60's and 70's comeback which makes it real fantastic plus its modern feel, and how I love the ecstatic feeling that whenever I look at some of its outfits summer just keeps on getting closer and closer down my nerves.

I've studied her before, almost everything about her. I guess it was way back 2008 or 2009 though it wasn't in any of my subjects in school or what, I just grew curios about her since I always tend to hear her name in television shows a lot, I can even remember that I blogged several posts about Marie Antoinette in my previous blog. So after years of not having additional information about her, it became rusting away in my mind.

Now, after reading "the secret of the old lace" by Carolyne Keen I once again got interested in Europe and it's wonderful history and the legendary people in it.

After searching about Marie Antoinette again, I found this movie about her biography and Kirsten Dunst is the leading actress + the ever so awesome Sofia Coppola wrote and directed the said movie. Can't wait to download it ;)

This morning my brother was playing GTA (Grand Theft Auto) on our computer and while I was passing by, there suddenly popped an eccentric whatnot music.
